See every group and its status
How it works
Tap your group. It opens WhatsApp and you are in. Nobody messages you privately.
New jobs land in the group as they come in. Position, boat, location, money where the ad states it, and the contact details.
See something that fits, contact the boat or the recruiter yourself. We are not in the middle of it.
Crew chat groups
Open groups for crew to talk. Meet, ask, share. No job posts here.
Frequently asked questions
The short answers. Everything here is also true of the crew chat groups.
Is there a WhatsApp group for yacht crew jobs?
Yes. There are separate free WhatsApp groups for each role, Deckhand, Stewardess and Interior, Chef, Engineer and Captain, and for each region, Mediterranean, USA and Caribbean, and Greece and Turkey. Pick the one that matches you above and tap Join, it opens WhatsApp directly.
Is Yacht Crew Alerts actually free?
Yes, and it stays free. No CV, no registration, no membership fee, and nobody charges you to join or to stay in a group. We are not a recruitment agency and we do not place crew.
How often are new yacht jobs posted?
New jobs are posted daily on weekdays, position, boat, location, and the contact details, as soon as they come in. Weekends are quieter because most agencies and day-work boards post fewer jobs on weekends too.
Do I need a CV, or to sign up somewhere?
No. Tap Join, you are in the WhatsApp group. Nobody messages you privately and nothing is collected. When a job fits, you contact the boat or the recruiter directly using the details in the post.
Are the groups only for the Mediterranean?
No. There are groups for the Mediterranean, for the USA and Caribbean, and a dedicated set for Greece and Turkey. Use the tabs above to switch region.
I am a captain or recruiter. Can I post a job?
Yes, for free. Message the group for the role and region you are hiring for, or use the Captains & recruiters group below.
Is this a recruitment agency?
No. We do not place crew, we do not take a cut, and we never charge crew. Jobs are collected from public listings and crew agency posts, and remain the responsibility of whoever posted them. Always verify a vessel, an agency and a contract yourself before you travel or pay anyone.
